Queensland offers a similar program for children who turn 4 by June 30 in the year they attend kindy.

At Leading Edge Childcare, children eligible for the Queensland funded kindy receive:

  • 15 hours per week of free kindergarten

  • Education delivered by bachelor-qualified early childhood teachers

  • A play-based learning program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
